Project Activities:

  • Kick Off Meeting: The project will commence with a comprehensive Kick Off Meeting to align all stakeholders and set the project’s direction in Siatista.
  • Interim Meeting: Regular Interim Meetings will be held to review progress, address challenges, and adjust strategies as necessary and it will be take place in Berlin.
  • Final Meeting and Final Conference: A Final Meeting and Conference will take place in Thessaloniki and will mark the conclusion of the project, providing an opportunity to showcase achievements and discuss future prospects.
  • Pilot Testing Workshop: A Pilot Testing Workshop will be conducted to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of project interventions in a controlled environment.
  • Training Course on “Tourism Development”: A specialized Training Course on Tourism Development will equip participants with essential knowledge and skills for sustainable tourism management.
  • Training Workshop on ‘Tourism Destination Marketing Strategies’: This workshop will focus on enhancing participants’ understanding of effective marketing strategies to promote tourism destinations.
  • Capacity Development set on ‘Improving Sub Sahara Tourism Ecosystem: Destination and knowledge-based Development’: This capacity-building initiative aims to enhance the Sub-Saharan tourism ecosystem through knowledge-based interventions.
  • Training Course on “Tourism and Hospitality Services, delivered by experts’ managers and tourism counsellors: Experts and managers will deliver a comprehensive training course on tourism and hospitality services to empower participants with industry-specific expertise.
  • Job Shadowing on ‘Prospects of Sustainable Tourism in Sub Sahara Countries’ in Thessaloniki: Participants will engage in job shadowing activities in Thessaloniki to gain insights into sustainable tourism practices.
  • Course on supply chain management: This course will provide participants with valuable insights into supply chain management practices within the tourism industry.
  • Training of VET Trainers (ToT) Course on ‘Promoting Entrepreneurship for Tourism Industry Competitiveness: VET trainers will undergo specialized training to promote entrepreneurship and enhance competitiveness within the tourism industry.
  • Training Workshop for the Sub Sahara Cross-Border Parks and Protected Areas: This workshop aims to build capacity among stakeholders involved in managing cross-border parks and protected areas in Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Job Shadowing on Tourism policy and strategy in Veroia: Participants will undertake job shadowing activities in Veroia to gain practical knowledge of tourism policy and strategy implementation.
  • Dissemination Multiplier Events: These events will serve to disseminate project outcomes and multiply the impact of project activities across diverse stakeholder groups.
